Here are the known problems with Igor Pro Carbon and Mac OS X
10.2.0 and 10.2.1 (Jaguar).

Problem

Bizarre colors appear in page layouts when you drag objects
around. Bizarre colors may also appear in axis labels in graphs.

Explanation

This happens on G4 machines only and only if your monitor is in
millions of colors mode. The problem was fixed in OS X verison 10.2.2.

Workaround

Update to OS X 10.2.2 or set your monitor to thousands of colors.

Problem

If you create a PICT from an Igor graph and import it into
Microsoft Word or Microsoft PowerPoint or TextEdit or some other
programs, the left axis label is misplaced.

Explanation

This was an OS bug.

Workaround

Update to OS X 10.2.2 or later. If you can't update, use another graphics format (EPS or bitmap PICT or PNG work fine) or run Microsoft Word or PowerPoint under
OS 9 or OS 10.1.

Problem

Programs that use AppleEvents to communicate with Igor no longer
work as of OS X 10.2.0.

Explanation

The programming technique we have been using for many years (and
still documented in the on-line Inside Mac) has now been declared
illegal by Apple.

Workaround

Update to IGOR Pro 4.07.
