Apple made a change in OS X 10.6 ("Snow Leopard") that caused the custom Igor controls in the Print Graph dialog to become inoperative. These are the Fill Page, Custom Size, Same Size and Same Aspect radio buttons and the associated edit boxes.

The code behind this had worked since OS X 10.0. We brought this problem to Apple's attention but they did not fix it.

Igor Pro 6.06 and Igor Pro 6.11 were released to work around this problem. If you are experiencing the problem and you are running Igor Pro 6, update to the latest through the WaveMetrics web site.

We do not have an update for Igor Pro 5. If you are using Igor Pro 5, you have the following options:

1. Refrain from upgrading to OS X 10.6.

2. Upgrade to Igor Pro 6.

3. Use one of the workarounds listed below.

Workaround

If you must use Igor Pro 5 with OS X 10.6 you can use one of these workarounds for printing graphs:

1. Print graphs in Igor Pro 5 using the PrintGraphs command line operation.

2. Print graphs in Igor Pro 5 by first placing them in a page layout window.
