Learning Igor
There are many tools and resources for learning Igor. They range from introductory tours to advanced help for specific topics.
General
Guided Tour
The Guided Tour is an important two-part introduction to Igor. The best way to experience the tour is to run Igor and choose Getting Started from the Help menu. The Getting Started help file will guide you through the introduction and allow you to copy commands from the text which can be then pasted in the Igor command line and executed.
Example Experiments
These experiments are part of the standard Igor installation. You can browse the list of examples by running Igor and choosing Example Experiments from File Menu.

Igor Manual
