I would like to write a procedure to use "Browse experiment" option of the data browser.
Is it possible? My idea was to select a group of folders (based on their name) in the browsed exp and import them in the current experiment.

You can use the LoadData operation.

This is an extremely useful operation! I didn't see it in the Programming section of the manual and am glad I found it on the forum (via googling wavemetrics browse experiment).
