circular colorscale

Hi!
Is there is a circular color-scale in igor? I want to plot wind speed against time and color it using wind direction data. I have wind direction data from 0-360 and I want 0 and 360 to be of the same color. Is this possible?

I just had a look and I couldn't see one. You could create your own colortable or, you could make a version of your wind direction data where 0-180 is unaltered and 180-360 are converted to 180-0, i.e. 181 becomes 179? Then use this wave for color coding.

I remember coming up with one for just this purpose.

The attached procedure file adds a "Make Angle Color Legend" item to the Graph, Panel, and Layout menus.
It works well with the RainbowCycle color table.
