Hello Giannis,

You are not telling us which version of IGOR you are using. If it is anything recent I suggest that you go to our web site and update to the very latest IP 6.20.

Using this version you have several options for adding annotations.

1. You can choose Add Annotation from Gizmo menu to add an annotation anywhere on the graph.
2. You can choose Box Axes from Gizmo menu which gives you control over the axes and has a button (at the bottom) for Axis Labels.
3. You can use the standard Gizmo interface to add an Axes object, then double click on the object in the Info window and in the resulting dialog choose the Axis Labels tab to make the necessary selections.
