Modifying Category Axis on Category Plot?

Hi,

I currently have a category plot that is generated by a procedure file.

The problem I'm having with it is that it shows the label of every category (on the "x", or "category" axis), and I only want it to show about 8-12 on the axis, depending on what works best for the data set.

I've tried manually editing which ones are displayed by making some of the category labels equal to "", and effectively hiding them, but this doesn't look very nice.

Is there any way to make it so that only about a certain number of category labels are displayed, and others are hidden?

The reason I'm asking is that I've found you can do this using a regular axis - I'm just hoping there's a way to do it with a category plot as well.
