Multi-peak Fit Issue

Hi,
I have been getting the following error intermittently running multi-peak fit 2.0. Newbie here with the tool. Any advice appreciated.

"multi-peak fit failed:
singular matrix or other numerica error"
The first thing to try is to make sure that your waves are double-precision floating point. You can check this in the Data->Browse Waves dialog. If they are not DP, you can change them in the Data-Redimension dialog.

Most likely your fit doesn't converge or some peaks are misbehaving. Help the routine a bit by modifying the peaks until the shape roughly represents you curve and only let the fit procedure do the fine tuning. Sometimes this is also the case, when you want to fit in two gauss where the shape is more like only one gauss and the routine doesn't know what to do with the second one.
