Tutorial question - editing a re-created graph

Following the (splendidly detailed) tutorial through to Manual page I-27:

When I make the Window Recreation Macro and close the original graph window, then run the Graph Macro to recreate the graph, it works fine...

Except I now cannot edit the graph contents added to the graph using the drawing tools. (I can edit the earlier contents when I select the Normal Graph operation icon, but not the drawn items when the draw layers tool is selected). I have run this through twice with the same result.

Why is this so, and how do I get at the drawing layer items to edit them if I need to? I could edit them all in the original graph window.

Presumably I'm missing something obvious?

OK, solved. I needed to change to the right user layer (User Back) via the drawing tool. Might be helpful to tack this on to the tutorial on Manual page I-27 under "Recreating the Graph".
