Write to Excel

Hi everyone,
Can Igor write out to Excel or text file in a desired formatted way? I have written a function to calculate some statistics of the waves and want to output the results into a single Excel file for better organization. The results are printed in the command window.
Or are there any other better ways that are more widely used and efficient?

Thank you s.r.chinn! This tells me how to write in a formatted way, but I still don't know if Igor can write to an outside file.

Does anyone know if Igor can write to programs like Excel? Thanks very much!
