Selective Plots of Multi-Parameter Equations?

Suppose that I have a function of several parameters f(x1, x2, x3, ... xn). I want to be able to visualize the output of this function for different slices of the parameter sets. For example, y12 = f(x1, x2 ... all others constant) and y34 = f(x3, x4 ... all others constant). I want to be able to do this interactively ... define the equation and select the variables and constants dynamically, most like through a UI panel.

Has anyone developed something to do this?

Pardon also me otherwise if I am showing my ignorance of something that already exists in Igor :-/

Thanks.
Unfortunately, the Function Grapher package (Analysis->Packages->Function Grapher) supports only one independent variable. Otherwise, you could use it to define an expression that calls your basic function with the independent variable set to the input of interest, and the rest defined as parameters.

This is a wonderful starting point! I had forgotten that this package existed.

You won't mind (I imagine) when I make a few modifications (to a duplicate of the package of course) to accomplish what I want ... :-)

Thanks!
