in the graph, how to align the plot edge to the graphs edge?

when igor do embed graph, there is similar option to align graph rectangle, window frame and plot rectangle.

when without embed graph, is there any way to align the edge of plot rectangle with graph rectangle?

The position of free axes can be adjusted by a few different methods. The best for many situations is to use (on the Axis tab of the Modify Axis dialog, Free Axis Position) Fraction of Plot Area.

Thank you John, I attached my screen shoot. Here I plotted a simple wave. I want to control to exact relative position of x and y axis to the bottom and left of the graph window. if possible I also want to control the relative position of the top and right edge of the chart to the top and right edge of the graph window.

P.S. The option under "free axis position" is gray in this case.

For that you need to set the graph margins. Double-click in the margin area to bring up the Modify Graph dialog. There you can set the margins to exact values.

hi John, thank you for your reply, can you please tell me how to make the value of margin to zero? when I type 0 to it, it seems to be returned to some preset distance.
