Hello,

I have just been playing with the new ICA function in Igor 7. I am wondering if there is a possibility to restrict the number of components that the algorithm will extract (like the "reqComponents" in the simpleICA snippet from A.G. (simpleICA)).

Hello Klaus,

The code implementation in Igor is different from the procedure code that I posted some years ago. My initial design intended to support a reduced dimensionality via /NCOM flag but some numerical experiments left me in doubt that the restricted dimensionality solutions were stable enough.
