Keep aspect ratio when resizing in Layout

This may already have been requested, but it would be really useful to be able to keep the ratio of height and width when re-sizing graphs in the Layout window

 

You can actually do that but it is tricky.

First select the graph object in the layout.

Next click the handle (small square rectangle) in the lower/right corner of the graph object.

Next press the shift key. You must do this after clicking the handle. Otherwise shift means "deselect".

Drag the handle diagonally.

You may be better off setting the aspect ratio of the graph plot area in the graph window. For details, execute:
