Merge data folder contents when moving/copying folders inside the Data Browser

See the title. Consider the following scenario: There are a range of similarly named subfolders in two or more master folders like this...

  • folder a
    • wave 1
    • wave 2
  • folder b
    • wave 1
    • wave 2
• folder 2
  • folder a
    • wave 3
  • folder b
    • wave 3

It would be great if there was an option to merge the folder contents when moving or copying the subfolders between master folders. For example, if I move folder a & b from folder 1 into folder 2 sometimes I just want to merge everything so that I have wave 1, 2, 3 inside the folders in the end. Currently it is only possible to overwrite the contents or move the individual waves themselves. In other words, it would be great to have something like option=2 of the MoveDataFolder and DuplicateDataFolder commands, e.g., by presenting an additional button 'merge folders' in the dialog.
