Split and/or Tabbed Procedure Window

Revisiting a discussion on the IP mailing lists from 7/09, "Procedure window question." I didn't see an official wish-list post for this topic, so decided to add it.

It would be a very helpful addition to Igor to include enhancements to procedure editing windows if they could be split-pane or multiply opened. This allows easier searching of procedures without losing cursor location, as well as the ability to edit two locations of the same file simultaneously. (This is something I frequently run into.)

Workaround suggestions at the time involved making periodic copies of procedure windows into Igor notebooks, or using #ifdef 0 ... #endif blocks.
This is the kind of thing is on our radar screen for Igor 7 which is still a long, long way off.
