If you've reported an issue to us and we've told you it's been fixed, the fix will be included in this release, even if it's not mentioned below.

Macintosh users: When you drag the Igor Pro 9 Folder from the new installer into your Applications folder, the OS may ask you whether you want to merge the folders or replace the existing folder. You should select "Replace".

Notable Changes in Igor Pro 9.04

  • Fixed a possible crash if you have a graph in SwapXY mode and then append two images to the graph. The crash happened when RemoveImage /ALL was executed, but it is likely that other actions could have caused a crash as well: the images were badly made in the first place.
  • Fixed a crash on Macintosh if you closed all windows including the command window, data browser and window browser, leaving one window such as a graph open. If you then shift-click the close button to hide that window, Igor would crash.
  • Fixed a crash in ImageRemoveBackground.

New Polar Graphs package:

  • Fixed problems with using the Use Polar Settings from popup when not set to _default_. When updating an old version of the polar graphs panel to the current version, you no longer get a non-functional panel.
