Default Plot settings for Igor

Hi All,

I am new to Igor (using it for last 6 months or so). I want to change the default font and other plot settings for Igor. i.e The default font settings for Axis Label Annotation and whatever text I input should have Times New Roman font and each should be defined Font size. I just want to know how to provide default setting to each those parameters (like axis thickness, mirror axis, wave format (default lines and marker options),etc).

An example describing to do so would be appreciated.

There are two ways to do this: preferences and style macros.

You have one set of graph preferences but you can create any number of style macros.
