ExecuteScriptText behaviour changed?

Quick question - has the behaviour of ExecuteScriptText changed between versions 6.0 and 6.3.1.2? My rather long running executable process is locking up the Igor command window while active (as it always has), but there doesn't seem to be an abort button or any indication that it's running in the lower left corner of the Igor window. I think I remember that there was in earlier versions of Igor. Or did I imagine that?

It's not a serious problem for me, but it would be nice if I wasn't getting questions from users about a mysterious locking "bug"...

Might it be possible for future versions to show that something is running under ExecuteScriptText? I realise a working abort button probably couldn't be implemented, but an indication that a process is still active would be useful.
