Global fit on multivariate function?

I am wondering whether there is any trick or workaround to make global fit on a multivariate function? As far as I understood, the current "Global Fit" package does not support multivariate function...
So any definite plan in the near future to include multivariate support in Global Fit package?

Well, I've had several requests for it. At the moment I'm all taken up with Igor 7 development as we head into beta testing. But it is definitely on my list, but I'm afraid with no definite schedule.
