HDF5 IN IGOR 9

Hello,

I am getting the following error when running a program in IGOR 9 (newly installed on a PC).  

"Failed to creat shortcut to HDF5.xop"

Could this be a result of the program (.ipf) being incompatible with IGOR 9, or just that the different .xop files are not put in the correct place.

HDF5 support is built into Igor Pro 9. There is no HDF5 XOP shipped with Igor Pro 9 as there was in Igor Pro 8 and before. You don't need to create any shortcuts for HDF5 support in Igor Pro 9.

The "Failed to creat shortcut to HDF5.xop" message sounds like it is coming from some kind of user-written package that is installed in your Igor Pro 9. I suspect the error message will go away if you update the package.

Thanks for your response. The program was not compatible with IGOR 9.
