Igor's line fitting feature

Hi

I have come across a problem that the line of best fit doesn't intercept the y axis as shown in the image below.

I tried to change some features in the curve fitting menu but could find any help there. Can anyone please tell me how to do that without changing the scales of the x and y axes?

Also, is it possible to put symbols in the annotation box? I clicked the symbol tag in the modify annotation dialogue, but there's actually no symbols to choose or add.

Check the 'X Range Full Width of Graph' chekcbox in the Output Options tab of the Curve Fitting dialog or alternatively add a /X=1 flag to the command.

Double click the annotation box to edit it then click the text tab. Selecting a marker from the Special menu will insert it at the cursor position. Pretty straightforward...
