Interpolate2 /X flag

I'm trying to use the Interpolate2 like this

Interpolate2/T=3/F=0/N=(destpnts)/X timewave, srcwave


The help file says the /X flag can be used without specifying an output name but I keep receiving the 'expected =' error. Of course I can generate the name myself. I'm just wondering if I need to.
It appears that the help for Interpolate2 /X is wrong - you do need to specify the name of the X dest wave.
