Layout resolution

Hello,

I do have a problem with my layout pages.
The resolution of the layout page within Igor is very low (72 dpi), although the used printer has 600 dpi.
If I print the layout the resolution is 600 dpi but if I view the layout page in Igor the resolution is 72 dpi. Therefor I can't see the Graph properly and I'm forced to use the print preview to see how the layout really looks.
So my question is:

- How can I change the resolution of a layout page.

Thanks for your time,
Benny

PS: I'm using Mac OS X (Version 10.6.6) and Igor PRO (Version 6.00)
You can't change the screen resolution of the layout layer of a page layout. We will try to improve this in a future version but it will not be in the near future.

You can use embedded graphs instead of graph objects. When you zoom a page layout, the embedded graph is displayed at higher resolution.

To learn about embedding, execute:
DisplayHelpTopic "Embedding and Subwindows"

It takes a bit of reading and work to get used to embedding. If that does not work for you you will have to depend on the print preview.
