Mac asks for font downloading every time

On my M1 Mac (Sonoma in a VM) I always get the below dialog when I run Igor Pro from a shell. I've tried skipping the download or selecting download nothing persists, After a day or so the last choice is forgotten. I also downloaded the Osaka font in FontManager, nothing. Same issue with IP8 or 9.
Does anyone face the same issue? Any ideas how to resolve it?
