reproduce "Luminescence quenching" at igor Pro 3D Graph samples

Dear All;

I am trying to draw the same type of graph as those in "Luminescence quenching" example by using a 2D matrix data. [x, y, intensity].
I could draw the 3D surface plot by using Gizmo.
However, I have difficulty in drawing the 2D contour plot in xy plane.

Could you help me with this figure?

Best regards,
Keeseong
Which version of Igor are you using?

If the Gizmo menu doesn't have an "Append Contours" item in it, first choose "Load Gizmo Procedures".

Then the "Append Contours" menu item will be added to the Gizmo menu, and you can use that to put the contour plot in the xy plane of the gizmo window.

Thanks for your reply, Jim.
I am using version 6.04.

I tried contour plot by using the "Append Coutour Panel" but I got only contour lines, not contour image.
How can I add an image with a continuously changing color to the conour lines?

That is, How can I use "AppendImage" on the xy contour plot?

Thanks,
Keeseong
That is going to be much easier if you update (it's free for 6.04 users) to the just-released Igor 6.20. That version's Gizmo menu has an Append Image panel that easily creates a bottom image from a Gizmo surface.
