See through - Chart bars

Dear all,

I have two partially overlapping histograms.
I would like to display bars rather than lines and markers or cityscape.

However, because part of the data overlaps, in the overlapping region I cannot see the information from the histogram in the back layer.
Changing the histograms in between the layers doesn't quite do the trick either, I always have some data that gets hidden by the front histogram.

Is it possible to make the bars glass-like or see-through? The 25, 50 or 75% solid fill type doesn't quite solve the problem...
I might go for different colors of cityscape, but is there away to continue with bars?

Cheers,

R.
You can use a magic white value as the background color for fill patterns. Search the What's new in Igor Pro 6.1.ihf file for the word transparent for information and limitations.

In the future, full transparency will be supported (at least a year away from beta.)

Here is the text from the help:
You can now use overlapping fill patterns where one or more is transparent. However this does not work when exported on Windows as EMF or WMF. To use transparent patterns, use the new ModifyGraph keyword patBkgColor. New graphics only.
