Crazy wish: using Ruby to program Igor

I know it's crazy, but I'd love to be able to use Ruby for writing my Igor programs.

If Ruby can drive an ActiveX Automation Server then, on Windows, this should be possible.

You might go to http://www.ruby-doc.org/ and search for ActiveX.
