Working with Date/Time axis - UI improvement suggestion

I love the fact that Igor Pro works pretty well with date/time axes - much better than most other graphing programs I've worked with.

There are two situations where I would like the option for a "Date&Time" format (Igor Pro 7.0.0.10):

1) After drawing a line on a graph in "Draw Mode" using the UI, I can change the coordinate system for, say, the x axis to "Axis bottom" using the "Modify Line" dialog. However if the bottom axis happens to be a date/time formatted axis, it turns out that I can't input a date/time format value, but I have to enter a number, i.e. absolute seconds. This is a bit inconvenient, and requires me to calculate that number first.

Similarly, for the command "DrawLine", I have to convert my date to an absolute time first.
It would be great to have the option to enter a date/time format in both of those cases.

2) Another small improvement suggestion:
It would be great if the "Modify Axis"/"Manual Range Settings"/"Entry Format" dropdown list would remember its last setting. Even if my axis limits are not integer days, the entry format for the minimum and maximum axis limits frequently defaults to "Date" rather than "Date&Time". I think this mostly happens when the x-axis range covers many days, but I'm not sure.

I often need to check the current axis limits exactly (i.e. date and exact time) for the graphs I'm generating, and it's a bit inconvenient to always have to switch to "Date&Time" entry format every time I open the "Modify Axis" dialog to check.

It would be convenient if the default view was "Date&Time" (unless the axis limits are both on midnight of a day).

Thanks!
