Igor crashes saving wave as .itx (Igor Text Format)

Hello,

I've attached an experiment with a problem I am having.

Namely, I want to save out a 1D wave in Igor Text format. I can save it out in tab-delimited format fine, but when I try to save the same wave in Igor Text format, it *does* save out, but Igor crashes immediately after saving the file.

If you Run "Main()" in the command line, you will see an example: the wave is saved as tab delimited, there is a pause, then Igor saves out the wave and crashes.

I've also attached the (long) operating system error report. For what it is work, I am running OS X 10.9

Your experiment file lacks the procedure. Hold down the shift key and, while holding the shift key, select File->Adopt All. In the ensuing dialog, make sure everything is turned on except WaveMetrics Procedures. Save the result to a new file and post it.

By the way, this much of your crash report is relevant:

and it shows that Igor was well and truly trashed!

Based on the crash dump, you are running Igor Pro 6.35A5.

I get the crash in 6.35A5 but not in 6.37. So I think you just need to update. Choose Help->Updates for Igor.
