Filter for the history output
My request is simple: I would be really happy about an option to filter messages / lines in the history window, similar to how you can filter wave/folder names in the data browser. While it is nice that you can search for specific commands or outputs, going through a list of sometimes several thousand output lines in a relatively small window is rather tedious. Having hundreds of graph / trace formatting commands cluttering the output certainly does not help to find the line where I have modified a certain wave. The filter can be very simple. Just show only lines which contain the input in some form, e.g., searching for "CurveFit*mywave*" should show all lines where I have used CurveFit on mywave.
I added this to our internal wish list. Implementing the filtering part is relatively straightforward, but there'd be work to hook up the filtering mechanism to things like the find bar, up/down arrow key selection, etc.

Thank you. Looking forward to it. If it makes things easier, I could also imagine having something very similar to the find bar, just called filter bar instead, which can be optionally blended in. It could be made that they are exclusive, i.e., no find bar if the filter is active (for me personally at least).
