Multiple wave selection

I just changed from Igor 6 to Igor 8 and I have  a problem to select discontiguous data objects in the data browser

I check on the manual and it says:

"You can select multiple discontiguous data objects by Command-clicking (Macintosh) or Ctrl-clicking (Win-dows) " as I always did on Igor 6, but it does not work on Igor 8.

I can duplicate a  wave with Ctrl+D so the Ctrl button works.

Can you help me??

This isn't really help other than confirming that it does function.... holding down the control key and left clicking on non-contiguous waves works for me.  Igor 8.04 on Win10.  By the way, I didn't know ctl-D would duplicate a wave... thanks for that tidbit.
