trace color as f(y) ?

Hi there,

I would like to produce a Waterfall graph (as shown in the example image) where the y value of a trace dictates the trace color at the corresponding x point. Is this possible with Igor?

Yes,

In the modify trace dialog, select modify f(z) button. This opens a new dialog window with the first option color as f(z). Select the wave with the value coding which will the same as the data in your graph and then select the color table.
