HDF5 Browser error on upgrade to Igor Pro 7

I recently upgraded to version 7 (current version is 7.0.8.1, build 31118, 64-but version) and am running into problems compiling the HDF5 browser at line 41 which reads:

#if (HDF5LibraryInfo(0) <= 010805) // If you get an error here, you need HDF5 XOP 1.15 or later

I have double checked the instructions on how to load the HDF5 XOP and browser and have set up everything accordingly (shortcut of HDF5 XOP to Igor 64-bit extensions folder and shortcut of browser to Igor procedures folder). The browser version that I am working with is v1.21.

I've tried everything that I can think of and still no luck.

What am I missing?

Do you have more than one entry for each HDF5 operation in the help menu? If yes, you have multiple HDF5 XOPs installed and Igor is picking the wrong one.

shortcut of HDF5 XOP to Igor 64-bit extensions folder


You need to create a shortcut of "HDF5-64.xop" and put it in the Igor 64-bit extensions folder. Then restart Igor64.

In Igor64, choose Help->Show Igor Pro User Files to verify that your Igor Pro User Files folder is where you think it is.

I missed loading the 64-bit HDF5 browser into the 64-bit extensions folder.

Moved the shortcut and now back up and running.
